Hi there.. I'm Dr. Chris. Ive been working in mental health for more than 20 years. I'm licensed in 5 different states and enjoy meeting and helping new people. I think that life’s challenges can leave us feeling lost, broken, or stuck in the past. But I believe that tragedy is not the end—it is the beginning of discovering a strength we never knew we had. Through self-awareness, forgiveness, and a commitment to healing, we can rebuild, grow, and reclaim our power.
Lots of jokes. Therapy can be very intimidating. A relaxed environment is essential when developing a therapeutic relationship, creating a safe place to build trust. Rules and regulations will be discussed, and a plan of action, goals, and direction will be agreed on before making a schedule for our next appointment.
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can finally open up without fear of ridicule or rejection. Together, we will confront past trauma, overcome obstacles, and navigate the path to a renewed sense of confidence and purpose. I am here to remind you that giving up is not an option—because healing is possible if we choose it. By relinquishing the power others have over us, we step into a new freedom. We learn to forgive—ourselves and those who have hurt us—not for them, but for our own peace. Through this journey, you will not only find yourself again, but you will emerge stronger, with a deeper understanding of your worth and the life you deserve to create.
Over my career, I've been able to help children, adolescents, and adults who have been abused in every way possible heal from the hurt and move forward in life. If this might be you, I'd love to have a talk to see if I'm a fit to help you in your journey.
I can help people deal with mental health issues, develop a stronger relationship with God, and improve their understanding of their values.
I can help focus on how someone's thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors, aiming to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns.
Using strategies to identify and understand their emotions, I can help them to respond to situations in a more controlled manner.
In sessions, I can help in reducing symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and behavioral problems related to trauma.
