New to Grow
I’m a therapist who values curiosity, collaboration, and meeting you where you are. I’ve had the honor of working in this field for over 10 years, and I’m still deeply passionate about the work I do. My approach is grounded in showing up as a human sitting with another human. I prioritize getting to know you as the complex individual you are and building a strong, trusting, therapeutic relationship above everything else. Therapy won’t make you perfect or more worthy, but that’s not the goal. When you feel lost, overwhelmed, or alone in your experience, I’ll sit with you in that space. With compassion and honesty, I’ll support you in understanding yourself more deeply and figuring out what you want out of your life and how to move toward it.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be focused on hearing your story up to this point so that we have the context needed to move forward. We'll discuss your personal goals and options to move forward with those goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe one of the most important parts of my work is staying curious. I regularly take classes and attend seminars to deepen my understanding of effective ways to support clients, so I can offer a broad and flexible toolkit. This allows me to provide care that is thoughtful and individualized. I primarily draw from IFS, ACT, DBT, and CBT, tailoring the approach and combination to each client’s unique needs.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT is my primary treatment method. I've found my clients have had the most success using these techniques.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have 11 plus years using CBT. I mostly use it in addition to other modalities.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I am DBT informed and use many DBT techniques in sessions. I am not a full-protocol certified DBT therapist.
Hypnotherapy
I'm a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. I only use it when it is appropriate for the client and we always plan for these sessions in advance.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I've taken many extensive courses in IFS. I prefer to weave IFS into sessions but do not use it as my only method for any session.
