Life can feel overwhelming at times, and it’s easy to feel like things are spiraling out of control, but you don’t have to face those challenges alone. I am a licensed mental health clinician with over two decades of experience in mental health, including 17 years dedicated to helping adults, children and families navigate life’s difficulties through a compassionate, holistic approach. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, graduating with academic honors. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral challenges, family conflict, anger management concerns, parenting challenges, and school-related difficulties. My goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to resolve their challenges, experience healing and restoration, and develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive and lead more fulfilling lives.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session will focus on establishing rapport through introductions between the therapist and client, addressing any questions about the therapeutic process, and beginning to explore the concerns and challenges that prompted the client to seek services. This discussion will take place in a supportive, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment designed to foster comfort and open communication.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My work integrates a Christian perspective with evidence-based practices, recognizing that true healing involves the whole person. I believe that addressing the connection between mind, body, and soul is essential for meaningful and lasting growth. Together, we can work toward restoring balance, strengthening resilience, and supporting your journey toward healing.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My practice is centered on helping children experiencing Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavioral challenges, and school-related difficulties manage their symptoms, improve their behavior, and enhance their academic performance. I also work with teenagers and adults struggling with depression and anxiety, helping them develop effective coping strategies and achieve greater emotional well-being. In addition, I support couples facing relationship and marital challenges, guiding them toward healthier communication, stronger connections, and more fulfilling relationships.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

While we all struggle with negative thought patterns from time to time, we do not have to let them control our lives. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients identify and challenge negative thinking patterns, replacing them with healthier, more positive thoughts to improve their emotions, behaviors, and overall well-being.
