New clients continue care with this provider

Do you feel stuck? Are you struggling with emotions feeling just a bit too overwhelming? Not sure where to start? Sometimes you can walk away from therapy still wondering "what do I do next?"; this is where I can be of assistance! I help those struggling with anxiety, depression, communication, relationships and overall emotion regulation challenges. We often aren't taught the skills we need to identify and manage our emotions, so how can you be expected to do so without ever learning how? I take an eclectic approach to combine cognitive and behavioral interventions so you can walk away from session with specific tools to implement in your day to day. We all deserve a safe space to share, get feedback, and learn the skills we need to be the best version of ourselves. Let's work together at your pace to reach your goals and most importantly, feel a bit better.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will get into some of your background so I can do an assessment and also identify your symptoms and goals, as well as go over any questions you may have!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work hard to make therapy feel relaxed, comfortable, and engaging. The therapeutic relationship is a special one and I value connecting with each of my clients with humor, empathy, validation, and kindness.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I was trained in Cognitive Therapy in 2016 through the Beck Institute and have used it throughout my practice to help develop insight to thinking patterns and give useful skills to manage anxious or negative thoughts. I have also completed training for CBT for Adults with ADHD specifically to help my clients learn effective coping skills and behavioral interventions to manage symptoms.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I was trained in DBT in 2016 and worked in full model DBT until 2019. I now utilize the skills and treatment interventions in individual sessions to teach emotion regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal skills.
