What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Your first session is a chance for you to make sure you feel comfortable with your therapist and for you to check that they have the skills and expertise to support you. It will include introductions, in a conversational style, contracting and a chance for you to tell your story and explain the problems you're experiencing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an evidenced based therapy that helps people understand the relationships among their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as identify and change patterns of thoughts and behaviors that may not be helpful. It is solution focused and helps people to quickly achieve desired changes and live a more satisfying life.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy is a great choice if you're interested in exploring childhood experiences, you have unresolved feelings about past relationships. This may not be a right fit for you if you prefer a clear and structured therapy process, like to measure your progress with specific goals and outcomes, or prefer specific exercises or action items throughout the therapy process.

Trauma-Focused CBT

TF-CBT is a structured short term treatment model that improves a range of trauma related outcomes; in treatment I challenge negative thoughts and cognitions and learn to restructure thoughts for a more positive outlook on life and through life transitions
