(she/her)
Many people come to therapy carrying experiences they've never told another person. Whether you're living with anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, or navigating life as a neurodivergent person, you don't have to carry it alone anymore. I work with children, teens, and adults to create a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Many of my clients have spent years masking who they are, minimizing their pain, or believing they have to handle everything on their own. Others carry experiences they worry are "too much" to share. In our work together, you don't have to hide parts of yourself or worry about being judged or misunderstood. I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest, even about the things you've never said out loud. Whether you're processing trauma, navigating difficult life experiences, learning to live with chronic illness, or discovering what it means to be neurodivergent, we'll move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we'll build practical coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and work toward a life where you feel more connected, empowered, and less alone.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you're hoping will change, and any experiences you feel comfortable sharing. There is no pressure to tell your whole story right away—we move at a pace that feels safe for you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and knowing you don't have to face life's challenges alone. Together, we'll begin creating a plan that fits your unique needs and goals.
One of my greatest strengths is creating an environment where clients feel safe enough to talk about the parts of themselves they've kept hidden. Whether you're carrying shame, grief, trauma, intrusive thoughts, or experiences you've never shared before, my goal is to help you feel accepted, understood, and supported rather than judged. I recognize that many neurodivergent people have spent years masking, adapting to others' expectations, or feeling misunderstood. Therapy can be a place where you no longer have to pretend you're okay or fit into someone else's idea of who you should be. I tailor therapy to each individual using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy, helping clients build practical coping skills while honoring their unique experiences and strengths.
My ideal client is someone who may feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or like they have been carrying their struggles alone for too long. They may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, chronic pain, life transitions, or exploring their neurodivergent identity. They may have spent years masking, pushing through, or feeling like their experiences are “too much” for others. I work best with clients who are ready to explore their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and honesty while building coping skills and creating a life that feels more aligned with who they are.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a flexible, collaborative approach to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Rather than focusing on "thinking positively," I help clients identify patterns that may no longer be serving them, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful changes that align with their values. I adapt CBT to meet each client's unique needs, recognizing that factors such as trauma, chronic illness, chronic pain, and neurodivergence influence how people experience the world.
Narrative
I believe our experiences shape the stories we tell ourselves, but those stories don't have to define who we are. Using Narrative Therapy, I help clients explore the impact of trauma, relationships, and life experiences while separating their identity from the challenges they face. Together, we identify strengths, values, and moments of resilience to build a more compassionate and empowering understanding of themselves.
Strength-Based
I believe every client brings strengths into therapy, even if they have difficulty recognizing them. My role is to help clients identify those strengths and use them to navigate life's challenges. Whether we're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, or neurodivergent experiences, I focus on fostering resilience, self-compassion, and confidence while helping clients create realistic, meaningful change.
