New to Grow
I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations. I have worked in a variety of settings providing mental health care to individuals and families. Open and honest therapy is what I offer. No matter the issue, your feelings are of value to you and sometimes this is hard to decipher what you are dealing with on your own. Getting through a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars, you have to let go at some point to move forward. If you change nothing, nothing will change and I try to provide clarity to issues that may be troubling. Physical health and mental health work hand in hand. Therapy can assist with understanding that a balanced life begins with a healthy mind. Providing a safe place for feelings is a goal for providing therapeutic intervention that helps you feel comfortable.
I would begin by making sure the client feels comfortable in the virtual space. Confirm audio/video is working Normalize any awkwardness (“It’s completely okay if this feels a little different at first — we’ll settle in together.”) Briefly explain how online sessions work (privacy, what to do if connection drops, etc.) I want to help the client exhale and feel safe.
My therapeutic style naturally integrates both: CBT gives structure, skills, and measurable change - REBT gives philosophical depth and emotional freedom. Together, we will help you as the client: Challenge distorted thoughts, Replace irrational beliefs, Build healthier coping patterns, Strengthen emotional resilience, Develop self‑acceptance and flexibility My approach is warm, direct, and empowering — clients feel guided, not judged.
I guide clients through career transitions and work–life balance with a blend of clinical skill, mentorship, and grounded compassion. My approach is structured enough to give direction, but warm enough to make people feel safe exploring big life changes. Here’s how I typically navigate this work as a therapist. I let the client be open an honest without fear of judgment.
