Hello, I am Chelsea, or you can call me Luna! Welcome to the beginning of what will be a life-changing and deeply transformative journey for you! Currently, I am a licensed psychotherapist, life coach, and integration guide in Michigan with over 9 years of professional work experience. Having been on the other end of receiving therapy services for several years, I totally understand the courage it takes to reach out to someone you’ve never met before in search of urgent support. It is my promise to stand beside you every step of the way as a partner alongside you on your own journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will start with introductions and discuss your treatment goals including what you would like to get out of your therapy time.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a clinician, my greatest gifts are consistentency, the willingness to actively listen, non-judgment, compassion, and equanimity. I understand that the client is the expert on themselves.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Clients who are motivated to "do the work" required of therapy, to become comfortable with the uncomfortable; open to the idea of embracing their innermost vulnerabilities.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is composed of four components: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Individuals learn to better regulate their emotions, become more aware in the present moment, and how to communicate with others more effectively.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

A systems based approach that considers the individual's self-identity and how this effects their mental health experience.

Psychodynamic

Involves an analysis of how past factors, influences, circumstances have influenced an individual's mental health to help the individual tap into themselves as their most valuable resource.

Humanistic

Therapy that focuses on helping individuals to self-actualize and become the best version of themselves
