Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your initial appointment will be a 60-minute comprehensive evaluation designed to understand your full clinical picture. During this session, we’ll review your current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, family history, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatments. We’ll also discuss your goals for care and any concerns you may have about medications or treatment options. By the end of the visit, you can expect a preliminary diagnosis (if appropriate), initial treatment recommendations, and a collaborative plan for next steps—whether that includes medication, therapy referrals, lab work, or genetic testing. This session is also a time for you to ask questions and ensure you feel comfortable moving forward with care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My practice is grounded in precision psychiatry and a personalized, evidence-based approach to mental health care. I integrate genetic testing, lab monitoring, and thorough diagnostic assessments to inform more targeted and effective treatment plans. I place strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, using structured methods such as EMDR and cognitive behavioral approaches when appropriate, alongside medication management. What stands out in my work is the balance of scientific rigor with compassionate, individualized care. Clients appreciate that I take time to explain the “why” behind each recommendation, involve them in decision-making, and prioritize both safety and long-term well-being. Many find relief in finally understanding the biological and psychological drivers of their symptoms—and in receiving a treatment plan that feels clear, collaborative, and tailored to their specific needs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to support adolescents and adults who are navigating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, and life transitions. Many of my clients come to me seeking clarity around persistent emotional distress, difficulty functioning day-to-day, or challenges with medication. Whether you’re new to psychiatric care or have tried previous treatments without success, I work well with individuals who are ready to engage in a structured, collaborative process. I also specialize in helping clients who are motivated to better understand the biological, psychological, and environmental factors impacting their mental health and are open to integrative, evidence-based approaches.
