(she/her)
I am a dually certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in formulating personalized treatment plans. My approach blends compassionate listening, evidence-based care, and client centered treatment plans to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered in your health & wellness journey. Whether it’s managing chronic conditions, mental health concerns, or helping you navigate life’s challenges, my goal is to partner with you to improve your overall well-being, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life. I provide compassionate and personalized medication management to support individuals navigating mental health challenges. I’m here not just to treat your symptoms, but to help you thrive.
In your first session with me, we will focus on getting to know you and your goals. I will take time to understand your health history, mental health, lifestyle, and any current concerns. Together, we will explore what’s most important to you and what you hope to achieve from our work together. I’ll explain my approach, including how we collaborate on personalized care plans and various tools or strategies that may support your progress. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear understanding of next steps, treatment options, and how we’ll measure your progress, so you can feel confident and supported on your journey to better health. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and empowered, with a plan that fits your life.
I proudly offer a whole-person approach that integrates physical and mental health. Using evidence-based therapies like CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, I help clients overcome challenges, build coping skills, and create lasting change. I understand how deeply mental well being impacts overall health and quality of life. My goal is to provide supportive, personalized care that empowers you to feel in control, improve your well-being, and thrive in daily life.
I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or adjusting to newfound circumstances. I use several evidence-based approaches to help you reach your goals. Each style of therapy is tailored to your unique needs, but they all share one goal: helping you live a healthier, more fulfilling life. Most of my clients notice gradual improvement of symptoms within the first month. Please note: At this time, our clinic does not prescribe controlled substances (Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin, Concerta, etc.). We are happy to assess symptoms and provide non-controlled treatment options.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT as a structured, goal-oriented approach that helps patients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. In sessions, I work collaboratively with patients to identify negative thought patterns, challenge certain beliefs contributing to imposter syndrome in order to reframe thinking to develop healthy coping skills.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a type of therapy that focuses on helping you live a life guided by your values, even when challenges or painful emotions show up. In our sessions, I use ACT to support you in making room for feelings, defusing from unhelpful thoughts in order to take committed action to live a full, purposed life.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing to help you explore your own reasons for change and build confidence in your ability to reach your goals. We work together in a supportive, non-judgmental way to uncover what matters the most to you.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution Focused Brief Treatment (SFBT) is a future-oriented, goal-focused approach that helps you move toward solutions rather than staying stuck in problems. SFBT helps you create meaningful change in a short amount of time by focusing on what’s working.
