New to Grow
I’m a licensed mental health clinician with over eight years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults in school, clinic, and community settings. I use a warm, trauma-informed, and collaborative approach to help clients navigate anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at your own pace.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your current concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy, while also making space for anything you’d like to share. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable and respected. We’ll talk about next steps and begin outlining a plan that fits your needs and pace.
What stands out about my approach is the balance between structure and flexibility. I use an eclectic, trauma-informed style that blends practical skill-building (such as CBT and DBT tools) with a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I prioritize emotional safety, nervous system regulation, and meeting clients where they are, moving at a pace that feels manageable. Clients often share that they feel genuinely heard, more grounded, and better equipped to handle stress and emotions in their daily lives.
I am best positioned to support older teens and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, trauma-related stress, or major life transitions. I work well with clients who want to build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and empowering. Let's make change happen!

Eclectic
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from multiple evidence-based modalities to best support each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. My background includes working with children, teens, and adults in school, clinic, and community settings, which has strengthened my ability to adapt treatment to different personalities, challenges, and stages of life. In practice, this means I may integrate tools from CBT to address unhelpful thought patterns, DBT skills to support emotional regulation, mindfulness to increase present-moment awareness, and trauma-informed strategies to promote safety and stability. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I collaborate with clients to determine what feels most helpful and effective, adjusting our approach as their needs evolve. This flexible style allows therapy to be both structured and personalized, helping clients build practical skills, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels supportive and empowering.
EMDR
I am currently completing my EMDR certification (Apr 2026) and integrate EMDR principles and preparation skills into my work, including grounding, resourcing, and nervous system regulation. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as a trauma-informed approach to help clients process distressing or unresolved experiences that may still be affecting their thoughts, emotions, or behaviors. In practice, I ensure clients feel safe and supported before engaging in trauma processing, moving at a pace that feels manageable and collaborative. EMDR allows clients to reduce the emotional intensity of difficult memories, develop healthier beliefs about themselves, and feel more grounded in the present. I often combine EMDR with other therapeutic approaches to support stability, coping, and long-term healing.
