Chinyere Ihejirika, NP, a Board-Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, brings over 20 years of experience. Grounded in her Ohio roots and community health background, she specializes in compassionate, evidence-based mental wellness care. Committed to empowering and nurturing her patients. Mrs. Ihejirika's greatest strength is empathy, which allows her to feel what the patients are feeling and respond in a manner consistent with their care and well-being.
I am a big believer in preventative care, and I want to equip my clients with as much knowledge as possible to make educated decisions about their health. The first visit will give me an opportunity to get to know you better. We will talk about your childhood and family relationships. This will allow us to set goals, see if we are a good fit, and begin to build a connection.
I was born into a culture where some individuals do not truly understand the impact mental health plays in our everyday lives. I want my clients to understand and believe it’s okay to ask for help and to be able to assist them. As an NP, I want to help my clients figure out different ways to live and be productive in society.
I am passionate about mental health from a cultural perspective, I entered this field to address the misunderstandings surrounding mental health in everyday life. With over 20 years of nursing experience and over a decade in mental health, I consistently demonstrated my dedication to my clients' mental wellness and personal development. My approach is marked by a blend of evidence-based guidelines, clinical experience, and personal observation, ensuring a tailored and empathetic approach to each individual's care.

Ms. Ihejirika was wonderful. She spent time fully understanding me/my symptoms and guiding me to the best fit for medicine to help me stabilize. I am beyond happy with her care and the services provided to me.
