First session
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and complete a thorough evaluation to understand what’s been going on—your symptoms, stressors, history, and what has (or hasn’t) helped in the past. We’ll talk about your goals and what you’d like to feel different. Before we wrap up, we’ll create a clear plan together, including treatment options and next steps, so you leave feeling supported and confident about where we’re headed.
Strengths
I lead with compassion and attentive listening. I take time to understand the full picture—your symptoms, your story, and what matters most to you—so you feel supported and never rushed. I bring a strong clinical foundation and stay up to date on evidence-based care, so your treatment plan is thoughtful, practical, and personalized. My hope is that you leave each appointment feeling understood, encouraged, and confident that progress is possible.
Ideal clients
I love working with children, adolescents, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, or mood-related challenges. I’m a great fit for clients who want a supportive, collaborative provider and are open to taking small, meaningful steps toward change. You don’t have to have everything figured out—just come as you are, and we’ll work together to find what helps.
Treatment methods
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
One of the primary benefits of DBT is enhanced emotional regulation. The therapy teaches individuals to identify, understand, and manage their emotions effectively, reducing emotional volatility and impulsivity. This leads to greater emotional stability and resilience in the face of stress.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, evidence-based approach to help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, and behavioral habits that contribute to distress. My experience with CBT includes working with individuals experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD, rumination, and maladaptive coping patterns such as people-pleasing and over-functioning.
