New to Grow
Hi! I'm Grace! I'm glad you're here. I know reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, and I don't take that trust lightly. It's amazing you're taking a step towards caring for your mental health. I value creating a safe environment and genuine connection with my clients, and I believe that establishing a strong therapeutic relationship is a key part to the healing process. My style is gentle, supportive, and collaborative, and I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself while we work together towards the changes that matter the most to you.
Our first session is largely about getting to know each other and making sure that you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, any concerns or goals you have, and a little bit about your background and current life circumstances. I’ll ask you some questions to better understand your experiences, without the pressure to share everything all at once. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard and supported, and with a clear sense of what working together might look like.
I believe true healing doesn't comes from having all the answers - it comes from feeling understood enough to explore the difficult parts of your life without fear of judgement. That kind of experience is what I aim to create within every session. My goal is to produce an environment where you feel you'll always be met with curiosity, empathy, and respect. For me, empathy is not simply shaped by my professional training, but also by my own experiences navigating life's challenges too. I understand the courage it takes to ask for help, and the importance of having someone who meets you with compassion, rather than judgment. Your story is uniquely yours, and I value getting to support my clients through their emotions on the road to healing.
I enjoy working with people who have spent a long time surviving and are ready to begin healing. Many of my clients have learned to carry difficult experiences on their own, often believing they need to stay strong or figure everything out by themselves. They tend to be harder on themselves than they would ever be on someone they care about, carrying shame, self-doubt, or emotional pain that can feel isolating. Whether you're healing from trauma, navigating recovery, struggling with anxiety, or simply trying to cope with all of life's challenges,; you don't have to face it alone.

I identify as
Compassion Focused
I use Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients develop a kinder, more understanding relationship with themselves. Many people I work with struggle with self-criticism, shame, or feeling like they're never "good enough." Together, we explore where those patterns come from and practice responding to them with greater compassion. This approach doesn't ignore difficult emotions rather it helps you navigate them with more understanding, resilience, and self-acceptance.
