New to Grow
Let's be honest... Motherhood is incredible, but it's also overwhelming. Somewhere between the school drop-offs, endless to-do lists, work deadlines, laundry piles, mental checklists, and trying to remember the last time you drank your coffee while it was still hot, it's easy to lose yourself. Maybe you've been telling yourself, "I should be able to handle this." Maybe you feel guilty for needing a break. Maybe you're anxious all the time, snapping at the people you love most, or lying awake at night replaying every conversation and worrying about tomorrow. If any of that sounds familiar, you're in the right place. I'm Cassidy, a therapist who works with millennial moms who are tired of living in survival mode. Our generation is doing something really hard. We're trying to parent differently than we were raised. We're breaking cycles, healing old wounds, managing careers, showing up for our families, and somehow still feeling like we're never doing enough. That's exhausting. I specialize in helping women navigate anxiety, burnout, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the invisible mental load that so often comes with motherhood. I also have specialized training in addiction and recovery, which means I understand the complex ways substance use can impact individuals, marriages, and families. Whether you're healing from growing up around addiction, supporting a loved one in recovery, questioning your own relationship with alcohol, or simply trying to break unhealthy family patterns, you don't have to face it alone.
In our first session together, we will get to know each other and vibe check if I am a fit to help you reach your goals for therapy. I aim to gather an overall picture of who you are and what brought you here. As a planner by nature, in our first session we will also make a road map of what your therapeutic journey will be and determine when we will schedule our next session.
My therapy style is warm, genuine, and practical. I'll meet you exactly where you are—with compassion, honesty, and maybe even a little humor when it helps. Together, we'll untangle the anxiety, quiet the inner critic, set healthier boundaries, process the hard stuff, and help you reconnect with the version of yourself that's been buried underneath everyone else's needs.
You keep the schedules straight, remember the birthdays, manage the emotions, carry the mental load, and somehow still wonder if you're doing enough. Meanwhile, you're exhausted. Maybe motherhood has stirred up wounds you thought you'd already buried. Maybe anxiety is running the show. Maybe you're carrying the weight of growing up in a family affected by addiction, or you're beginning to question your own relationship with alcohol. Maybe you're simply tired of repeating patterns you swore would end with you. Together, we'll not only help you manage today's stress—we'll also explore how yesterday's experiences may be shaping the way you show up today.
We will identify the unhelpful thoughts that race through your mind all day while simultaneously creating action steps that will begin to change the way you show up in your own life.
What you need, you've already got! We are going to uncover those strengths and put them to work.
Trauma changes people, and you deserve to feel like you again. This isn't about becoming "better". It's about healing, growing, and creating the kind of life you've always hoped for.
