Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Massachusetts. I received a bachelor's in psychology from Mount Holyoke College in 2017, and a master's in education from Cambridge College in 2021. I have over three years of experience helping teens and young adults work through academic, emotional, and social challenges to help guide them in their transition to adulthood. My goal is to provide clients with the support they need to build resilience and achieve their personal and professional goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I take pride in creating a nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe to share anything on your mind. With a strong foundation in DBT and CBT, I provide practical skills tailored to your unique needs. I am transparent, compassionate, and always have your best interests in mind.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This form of psychotherapy is grounded in the idea that people are inherently motivated towards achieving positive psychological functioning. My role as your therapist is to provide a nonjudgmental environment conducive to honest self-exploration to increase your self-understanding. You know yourself best, therefore the best solutions to your problems come from you.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice to help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. We will pay close attention to the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, aiming to reframe unhelpful thinking and develop healthier coping strategies.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is particularly effective in helping clients manage intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and develop effective coping skills. In my practice, I teach DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness techniques. By using these skills in your daily life, you'll be able to navigate emotional challenges and promote long-term behavioral change.
