New to Grow
I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, and are ready for change but unsure where to begin. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling with stress, or navigating a difficult life transition. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin to move forward with greater clarity. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I aim to help you better understand your thoughts and emotions, build effective coping strategies, and develop a stronger, more confident sense of self. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your current concerns, personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get a feel for my approach. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you—there’s no pressure to share everything at once. By the end of the session, we’ll begin to identify your goals and discuss how we can work together moving fo
use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build a different, more compassionate relationship with your thoughts and emotions—rather than feeling like you have to fight or get rid of them. Together, we’ll gently work on staying present, navigating challenges with more flexibility, and taking steps toward what truly matters to you. I bring curiosity, empathy, and a touch of humor to our work, so therapy feels like a safe, collaborative space rather than a chore. Over time, many clients find they feel less stuck in anxiety or overthinking, and more grounded, confident, and able to move forward in a way that feels meaningful and authentic.
I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—often juggling high expectations while quietly struggling with anxiety, stress, or self-doubt. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware, but find themselves caught in patterns that no longer serve them, such as overthinking, people-pleasing, or burnout. They’re typically open to self-reflection and motivated for change, even if they’re unsure where to start. They may be navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or a desire to better understand themselves and their emotions. In our work together, clients often seek to build healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and develop a stronger sense of self. I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their experiences, gain insight, and move toward meaningful, sustainable growth.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or ACT. It helps people learn how to handle difficult thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them, and instead focus on what really matters to them. Rather than trying to get rid of uncomfortable emotions, we work on changing your relationship with them, so they have less control over your actions. At the same time, we clarify your values and take practical steps toward the kind of life you want to live.
