Welcome! My name is Fatima Sakrani and I am dedicated to helping those facing anxiety, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and life transitions. Are you feeling stressed, down, uncertain, going through a life transition, or struggling in relationships? Do you seek to better understand yourself? Using a blend of evidence based therapies, together we will address these concerns and explore what is important to you. Along the way, we will create practical strategies for you to live in alignment with your most authentic and peaceful self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We’ll begin by building rapport to create space for goals to naturally arise. Therapy can often feel like mental exercise—sometimes energizing, sometimes tiring. Over time, you may gain deeper self-awareness and confidence, aligning more closely with your values and finding resilience as you navigate life’s ups & downs.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I wholeheartedly believe that each person’s life and beliefs are their own. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to be a supportive and warm presence as you engage in deeper self-reflection and understanding. I’m honored to have helped many individuals navigate challenges, enhance joy, develop coping strategies for stress, and live in alignment with what is important to them.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

We use ACT to help you connect deeply with your values while navigating life’s inevitable challenges. Together, we’ll focus on building self-compassion and practicing acceptance of difficult emotions, so you can make choices aligned with what matters most to you. This approach has supported many clients in creating a life that feels both meaningful and authentic to each unique individual.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is especially useful for managing intense emotions and building resilience. Together, we’ll explore practical skills for coping with challenging situations, staying grounded, and building fulfilling relationships. This approach has helped many clients develop a sense of balance and control in their daily lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We'll use CBT to help clients explore how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns that may be impacting your well-being, then develop strategies to shift those patterns. This method has been effective in helping many of my clients manage anxiety and gain tools to use in every day life.
