(she/her)
Are you ready to create the life you want to live? I have been a licensed psychotherapist since 2002, and I work with everyday people who are trying to manage life’s challenges while still wanting something more peaceful, meaningful, and steady for themselves. My approach is warm but real, honest, solution-focused, and collaborative. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, also known as CBT, to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, choices, and life experiences. Together, we look at what feels stuck, what patterns may be showing up, and what practical steps can help you move toward your desired outcome. I support clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship stress, self-doubt, feeling emotionally drained, and the pressure of trying to hold everything together. Therapy with me is not about judgment or labels; it is about having a safe space where you can be honest, feel supported, and begin creating change in a way that feels realistic and personal to you. If we are a good fit, I would be honored to walk with you as you take your next step forward.
In our first session, we will take time to get comfortable, review confidentiality and consent, and talk about what brings you to therapy at this point in your life. You do not have to arrive with everything perfectly figured out. We will discuss what you are experiencing, what you have tried, what you hope will change, and what kind of support feels most helpful. I may also ask questions to help us begin noticing patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and responses. If we decide to continue working together, we will begin creating a personalized plan that supports your goals and gives our work a clear direction. We can start right where you are.
As an anxiety treatment professional, solution focused therapist and professional life coach, I use a variety of methods to support you in creating the life you want to live. From cognitive behavioral therapy to solution focused strength based treatment, I will individualize our path to meet your treatment goals. I love the fact that every person is as unique as their fingerprints, so I recognize that many people will be into different things. Some will love mindfulness, journaling and meditation, while others will not. I believe that you are the best expert on you, so as we work together to dust off layers of emotional debris to get to your true self, the best interventions and methods for you will emerge.
I enjoy helping people feel comfortable enough to be honest, while also feeling supported enough to do the work. I bring a warm but real presence into the room, so our conversations can be open, meaningful, and focused on what actually matters in your life. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help you connect the dots between what you have experienced, what you believe, how you respond, and where you want to go next. My style is engaged and collaborative, which means you will not be left to figure everything out alone. We will start where you are today and focus on helping you move toward the life you want to create. You have the power to take the next step. Don’t waste your power — use it.
My dream clients are everyday people who may not have everything figured out, but knows something needs to change. They may be dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-doubt, or simply feeling tired from carrying so much for so long. They are often thoughtful, capable people who have been trying to hold everything together, but underneath the surface they know they are ready for more peace, clarity, and emotional steadiness. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to be honest about where they are, even if it feels uncomfortable at first. You do not have to come into therapy with the perfect words or a clear plan. You only need a willingness to show up, reflect, and take the next step. Our work together can help you better understand your patterns, reconnect with your own voice, and begin making choices that support the life you actually want to live. I believe change happens through meaningful conversation, practical action, and learning how to trust yourself in new ways. My dream client is ready to stop wasting their power on old patterns, old stories, or old survival habits that no longer fit. They are ready to start where they are and begin creating something more grounded, honest, and aligned.
