Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Michigan and Nevada. I received my Masters from the University of Michigan. I have been practicing for 23 years. I partner with young adults to seasoned adults for the purpose of examining challenges in order to work toward true and lasting change. I'm a person who has decided that in order to be effective, I have to be able to place myself in my client's shoes. I also believe that change is possible for anyone if they want to change and we work on changing step by step and mile by mile.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Since being a clinical provider for the past 23 years, I've developed the ability to connect with people at the point of the individual need. I use this connection to help my clients see that they're not alone in having issues that need to be worked on. They're also not alone in the process towards getting help that will lead to long term success.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I utilize a person's faith in Christ and the scriptures to assist with developing strategies to provide lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This form of therapy is used to change your thinking which will produce change in your actions.

Couples Counseling

I use this form of therapy to examine the thoughts and beliefs of the partners in a way to help them both grow to a place of interdependence and not independence.

Strength-Based

I use the methodology that a person has things on the inside of them or within their character that are useful and important to creating and sustaining change.

Faith based therapy

Faith based therapy is using a person's spiritual beliefs as the basis to what will be used to promote and encourage change.
