I am a compassionate behavioral health therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, self-awareness, and emotional balance. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and difficulties with work-life balance. I especially enjoy supporting young adults, professionals, college students, caregivers, and individuals exploring identity, personal growth, and emotional wellness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they can begin sharing their story at a pace that feels comfortable for them. The initial session focuses on building rapport, understanding the client's concerns, and identifying therapy goals. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, current stressors, emotional challenges, personal history, relationships, and any symptoms you may be experiencing, such as anxiety, depression, stress, or difficulty coping. Clients will also have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapeutic process and discuss what they hope to gain from treatment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is my ability to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I aim to balance warmth and empathy with practical, goal-oriented strategies that help clients make meaningful progress both emotionally and behaviorally. My approach is collaborative and individualized rather than "one size fits all". I recognize that every client's experiences, background, and needs are different, so treatment is tailored to fit the person rather than forcing the person to fit a specific model. I focus on helping clients build insight while also developing realistic tools they can apply in everyday life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve individuals who are motivated for growth, open to self-exploration, and ready to build healthier patterns in their lives and relationships. I enjoy working with clients who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, but who are willing to engage in the therapeutic process to create meaningful change. Some of the populations I feel especially passionate about working with include: young/middle aged professionals navigating career stress, burnout, imposter syndrome, workplace anxiety, and work-life balance. Many clients struggle with balancing ambition, relationships, self-care, and expectations while trying to establish themselves professionally. College students and emerging adults are adjusting to major life transitions, academic pressure, family expectations, identity development, and increased independence. Individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or low self-esteem who want to better understand their emotions, improve coping skills, and increase confidence in daily functioning. Caregivers and helping professionals who spend much of their time supporting others may neglect their own emotional needs. These clients often benefit from learning boundaries, stress management, and self-compassion.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a therapist, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. The goal of treatment is to identify unhelpful thinking patterns, challenge distorted beliefs, and develop healthy coping strategies that improve emotional functioning and daily life.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

As a therapist, I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify strengths, build on existing successes, and develop practical solutions to current problems rather than focusing heavily on the origin of the problem. This approach is goal-oriented, collaborative, and centered on the client's ability to create meaningful change.
