Hi, I'm Paige, and I'm here to be your cheerleader, your sounding board, a supportive listener—whatever you need as you navigate your journey! As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am dedicated to empowering you to make meaningful changes in your life. My approach centers on providing a nonjudgmental, safe space where you can feel heard and supported. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families navigating a wide range of mental health challenges and substance use concerns. By utilizing evidence-based tools and a trauma-informed perspective, we will explore how your past influences your present. Together, we’ll uncover patterns and develop a tailored plan to help you overcome obstacles and achieve your goals moving forward.
In your first session with me, you can expect a warm welcome where we focus on getting to know each other. There will likely also be a visit from either of my cats or my pup. We'll start by discussing what brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to achieve from our work together. I'll ask questions to learn about your personal history, relationships, and any patterns or behaviors you’ve noticed in your life. This helps me gain a clearer understanding of your unique experiences and how I can best support you. We’ll also take time to go over confidentiality, boundaries, and what you can expect from our sessions moving forward. Most importantly, this session is about ensuring you feel as comfortable and confident as possible to take the first steps toward your goals.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create an environment where clients feel truly heard and understood allowing them to show up as their authentic self. I feel confident in my ability to build strong therapeutic relationships based on trust and collaboration, which I believe is the basis for meaningful change. My trauma-informed approach allows me to meet clients where they are, recognizing how positive and negative experiences from the past play a role in current functioning. My goal is to provide a space that allows you to process all the thoughts and feelings related to those experiences when you are ready to do so.
I work best with adolescents, young adults, and families who are navigating challenges related to mental health, substance use, and trauma. My ideal clients are individuals who are motivated to gain insight into themselves, open to feedback and new perspectives, and ready to embrace the discomfort that comes often with personal growth.
I like to focus on your strengths and resilience, recognizing the skills and qualities that have helped you overcome challenges in the past. We will work together to build on these strengths, developing solutions that align with your goals. My objective is to help you tap into your inner resources and cultivate the confidence to move forward with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
A person-centered approach is based in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and self-healing. I believe you are the expert on your own life. I aim to create a container where you can freely explore your emotions and experiences, supporting the progress you wish to see within yourself.
Using a solution-focused approach, the emphasis is on finding practical solutions to the challenges you’re facing. We will focus on the future, identifying actionable steps that draw on your strengths and past successes. My role is to help you create a clear action plan, guiding you toward tangible progress and meaningful change in your life.
Incorporating CBT techniques, I can help you identify and challenge negative thought patterns that may be affecting your emotions and behaviors. We will develop healthier ways of thinking and coping strategies, empowering you to break free from unhelpful cycles. CBT is an effective tool for creating lasting change and building resilience in the face of challenges.
