As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I specialize in supporting adults grappling with a variety of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and chronic illness. My therapeutic approach is firmly rooted in a strength-based perspective, focusing on harnessing and enhancing the innate strengths and resources of my clients.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we would get to know each other and figure out areas that you would like to address first as part of your goals. Then we would focus on developing strategies that are of interest to you to be able to achieve these goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My ultimate goal is to guide each client on their unique path to self-awareness and personal growth. This journey is not just about overcoming challenges but also about leading a more fulfilling life. My strength-based, collaborative, and compassionate approach is customized to meet the distinct needs and aspirations of every individual and family I have the privilege of working with

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

At the heart of my practice lies the principle of collaboration. I am committed to working closely with my clients to develop tailored strategies for managing their conditions and achieving their personal goals. This collaborative process ensures that clients are actively involved in the decision-making, fostering a sense of empowerment and autonomy over their therapeutic journey.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

This treatment approach is helpful to help build on the strengths that the person already brings to the table and serves as a way to facilitate the persons growth.

Motivational Interviewing

I believe that Motivational interviewing is a highly effective approach to practice because it focuses on intrinsic motivation and empowers individuals to drive their change process rather than feeling coerced or directed by others. I believe that my clients are the ones that know their goals and the barriers that they face in their lives. My goal is to help them achieve clarity and find the tools to better get to where they want to be in life.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

This is a is a humanistic and empathetic approach to therapy that places the individual at the center of the therapeutic process. In this approach the client's autonomy is at the core of the practice to be able to achieve their therapy goals.
