My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

32 yeas of practice with CBT and it helps clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. CBT is also used to help clients recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life. We will develop heathy coping skills such as grounding techniques, identifying triggers that can assist clients with their desired change or outcome. These skills can assist with effective communication, improvement of self-esteem, skills and relationship building.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

10 yeas of practice with DBT and I use it to assist clients with exploring their thinking and how it relates to their feelings and their behaviors. Assist clients to look at possible cognitive distortions and how they affect the client and assist the client to develop heathy coping skills such as grounding techniques, identifying triggers and to effectively assist them with the change or outcome they desire. These skills can help with effective communication, self-esteem improvement, emotional regulation and relationship building.
