I am a licensed therapist who supports children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s emotional challenges with compassion and care. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relational or parenting concerns, and I also provide faith-integrated and culturally sensitive therapy when desired. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and a strengths-focused lens that honors each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals. Through our work together, I help clients build insight, develop effective coping skills, and strengthen emotional resilience. My goal is to support you in feeling more grounded, empowered, and confident as you navigate daily stressors and relationships in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This session is collaborative and relaxed, allowing us to begin building trust and determining a treatment approach that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is my ability to blend evidence-based methods with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and practical support. I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment while helping clients identify strengths and build effective coping strategies. Clients often appreciate my warm, grounded style and my commitment to helping them achieve meaningful progress.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are those seeking a supportive, collaborative space to work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and life challenges. They value growth, are open to reflection, and are ready to take steps toward healing and thriving within. I am best positioned to support adolescents and adults—including clients of color—who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating life transitions, and are looking to build coping skills, gain insight, and experience meaningful, lasting change through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I provide Christian counseling for clients who want to integrate their faith into the therapy process. I support clients in exploring life challenges through a spiritual lens while utilizing clinical interventions to support emotional healing and personal growth. My approach respects clients beliefs while maintaining ethical, evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of my primary treatment approaches. I help clients identify patterns between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work collaboratively to develop practical coping skills. I focus on helping clients challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, improve emotional regulation, and build strategies they can apply in everyday life.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I provide culturally responsive therapy by respecting each client’s background, values, and lived experiences. I am mindful of how culture, race, faith, and systemic factors can influence mental health. My goal is to create a safe and affirming space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood.

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence and strengthen their motivation for change. This approach is client-centered and nonjudgmental, allowing individuals to identify their own goals and values. I often use this method when clients feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure about next steps.

Psychoeducation

I provide psychoeducation to help clients understand symptoms, diagnoses, emotional responses, and coping strategies. By providing clear and relatable information, clients are empowered to make informed decisions about their mental health. Psychoeducation is often paired with skill-building to support lasting change.
