Are you ready for a change? Are you ready to start working on addressing those thoughts and behaviors that have been a part of your life that are no longer serving you? If so, you may be ready to work with me. I work with youth from age 12 and adults. I support youth and young adults in addressing life stress, loneliness, anxiety, and organizational concerns. I assist my clients with identifying triggers and discovering new ways to address concerns to break patterns of behaviors that have not been beneficial. I am a passionate therapist dedicated to supporting you in reaching your personal goals. I have supported many and utilized clients' personal interests to support reaching therapy goals. I have provided individuals with support in creating strategies to manage life stress, increase self-care, and identify triggers.
During our initial session, we will collaborate to establish objectives that cater to your unique needs. I will gather pertinent information to gain insight into the specific areas of focus in this season of your life. You are in charge and I am here to facilitate you in achieving your individual goals.
I am big on promoting self-care and on how to create healthy boundaries. I also love working with young people who are transitioning to adulthood to find their voice more confidently and build independence vs codependence.
I excel in collaborating with diverse demographics; however, I derive great fulfillment from working with young adults who are navigating the complexities of transitioning into adulthood. I also enjoy working alongside individuals who possess a willingness to put forth the necessary effort and require only some appropriate tools, support, and accountability. My adeptness extends to clients experiencing anxiety associated with various life transitions, such as those pertaining to career choices, marriage or family matters, and grief management, among others.
I’ve been incorporating CBT into my practices since 2016, helping many clients. Together, we’ll explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. We work to identify triggers as well. From there, we’ll work together to shift thinking patterns, ultimately reducing anxious and depressive symptoms.
I’ve been using ACT in my practice for the past five years, supporting clients in managing anxiety and difficult emotions. In our work together, we’ll focus on accepting thoughts and feelings without judgment while committing to actions that align with your values. This approach will help you develop a greater sense of psychological flexibility, leading to a life with less stress and anxiety.
