New to Grow
I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor who believes therapy should be a safe and collaborative space for growth. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, navigate difficult emotions, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with their values. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with family, laughing, cooking, and finding meaningful ways to support my community.
During the first session, we’ll discuss what has been bringing you stress or concern and explore your goals for therapy. I’ll also ask questions to better understand your background so we can begin developing a plan that supports your needs.
My greatest strengths as a therapist are my ability to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help clients gain clarity about their thoughts, emotions, and patterns. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel safe exploring difficult experiences while also identifying practical steps toward growth and change.
I work best with individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, or feeling stuck in patterns they want to break. I especially enjoy working with clients who are open to the process of therapy and willing to engage in self-reflection, growth, and honest exploration.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help clients recognize how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and learn practical skills to create more balanced thinking and healthier responses.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I help clients navigate difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on actions that align with their values and the life they want to build.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I recognize how culture, identity, and life experiences shape a person’s worldview and mental health, creating space for clients to feel understood and respected.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach that helps clients identify their resilience and personal strengths as a foundation for growth and healing.
