My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I have close to 20 years of experience in working with clients that have experienced trauma at some point in their live. I take the time to learn about your experiences, provide you with information that will help you understand how you brain has been affected by trauma, how you have developed coping skills that helped you thrive in that environment and how those coping skills may no longer be helpful for you and may even be unhealthy or even unsafe. We will work together to learn to manage those unhealthy reactions by learning new healthy ways to manage and reduce those presenting symptoms in positive and healthy ways so you can lead a more productive life.
