Hi! I'm an LCSW from Texas with a Master's Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University In San Antonio. I have over 3 years of experience working with people from the ages of 5 to 108! I believe that every person deserves to live a happy and fulfilled life, and each person has the strength and tools they need to be resilient and successful. I'm an avid believer in the power of positive thinking and I will always promote self-care!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I've always been accused of being an amazing listener! After actively listening to you, I will cater your treatment plan based on your needs. I'm flexible and knowledgeable regarding a number of treatment modalities. I feel that what works for one person might not work for another and as such, we will work together to formulate a plan that is catered specifically to you and your needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is an evidence based approach that focuses on teaching individuals skills and techniques they can continue using even after therapy ends. I believe that each individual has the ability and the tools to live happier and healthier lives, but with the help of CBT they can become more aware of how negative thoughts can impact mood and behavior.

Strength-Based

I believe that every individual has positive qualities that can be used to assist in living a happier life, however some people might need assistance in discovering what those strengths are.

Couples Counseling

I have over 7 years of experience working with couples to learn how to communicate more effectively and to learn how to build each other up and be more supportive.
