New clients continue care with this provider

Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with eight years of experience, and I am deeply passionate about the work I do. Throughout my career, I have worked in both nonprofit settings and private practice, earning a reputation for building meaningful, long-term relationships with my clients. Many clients return to me when they decide to re-engage with therapy, which speaks to the trust and connection we previously established. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating daily stressors, the challenges of past trauma, or relational distress. While I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, I am most frequently sought out by Latinas and individuals with a Christian background.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Meeting someone new can feel a little daunting, so my first priority is to create a warm and welcoming space where you feel safe and comfortable. I’ll take time to get to know you by asking questions about your history, experiences, and what brings you to therapy, while also giving you the chance to learn more about me—my background, the tools I use, and what you can expect from our work together. My goal is to help you feel confident in your decision to work together so we can ultimately collaborate to create a personalized plan that supports your growth and well-being.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I bring a relational and compassionate approach to therapy, with my top priority being to build a secure and trusting connection with you. I want you to feel safe and confident to bring anything you’re experiencing into our sessions, knowing you’ll be met with kindness, support, and without judgment. It’s an honor to walk alongside you on what can be one of the most profound journeys of self-discovery and personal growth.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

The clients I feel most aligned with and enjoy working with are those who approach therapy with curiosity and readiness. They are eager to gain deeper self-awareness, understand how they navigate the world around them, and are open to making healthy, constructive changes to enhance their quality of life and build more fulfilling relationships.

My treatment methods

Integrative

I believe it is essential to empower clients and involve them actively in their own therapeutic process. Since each client, couple, and family has unique needs, I draw from a variety of proven techniques, blending them to tailor to the client's goals. Together, we create a personalized plan designed to help foster lasting health and growth.

Attachment-based

Surveys reveal that over half of adults experience insecure attachments stemming from early childhood, which can significantly hinder their ability to enhance their quality of life, particularly when their environment and relationships feel unsafe. My primary focus with every client is to cultivate a safe and welcoming space that fosters secure attachment, healing, and vulnerability—creating a foundation that extends beyond our sessions and into their broader relationships and experiences.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Humans are complex beings composed of many interconnected parts. Early relationships often shape our understanding of which parts of ourselves are acceptable or necessary, while others are dismissed or suppressed. This process can lead individuals to lose touch with their authentic selves, becoming dominated by certain parts that, although once essential, may no longer serve the same purpose or provide the same support. Together, we work to identify these parts with compassion and curiosity, fostering a nonjudgmental relationship between them and the self. This process empowers clients to embrace their healthy, authentic selves, enhancing their quality of life and fostering more fulfilling relationships.

Family Therapy

As the family is often the first and most intimate unit in an individual’s life, it plays a significant role in shaping the level of stress or support they experience. As a family therapist, my role is to guide families in exploring their roles and recognizing patterns, increasing awareness of both functional and dysfunctional behaviors, and developing healthier dynamics that promote well-being and better relational connections.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As a therapist, my role is to cultivate a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where clients feel encouraged to explore their thoughts and emotions openly. By embodying empathy, authenticity, and a non-directive approach, I create an environment that nurtures self-awareness and self-acceptance. This process promotes personal growth and helps clients achieve a deeper alignment with their authentic selves.
