I have worked with couples, and individuals that have mental health, marital issues, personality disturbances, mood disorders, and substance abuse issues. I am a Clinical Pastoral Counselor and an LPCCS. I graduated Ashland Seminary in 2008 with a degree in Clinical Pastoral Counseling which focused on holistic counseling including the Christian faith and other religious views. I have a passion to help others, and I look forward to meeting you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will review where you've been physically, emotionally and mentally, get background information(i.e, have you been in counseling before?) review confidentiality, HIPPA, new patient paperwork and set goals for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I listen well and have years of life experience and mental health experience, but I don't know everything. I keep an open mind and do not judge! This is your safe space, to do or say what you need as long as we are both safe. I am able to be the "devils advocate" when necessary, however meeting people where they are without judging them is an incredible help in this field.
