First session
During our first session, we will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation to better understand your history, current concerns, and overall mental health. This will be a collaborative process, where we’ll not only assess your needs but also begin building a strong therapeutic rapport—because establishing trust and understanding is key to effective treatment. We’ll take time to discuss various treatment options, so you feel informed and empowered in your choices. Whether we explore medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches, our goal is to develop a personalized treatment plan that fits your unique needs and goals.
Strengths
One of my greatest strengths is my deep passion for this profession and the ability to attentive listen. Having personally experienced a mental health crisis, I understand firsthand the profound impact that mental instability can have on every aspect of your life—your relationships, your work, and your overall well-being. This experience has not only shaped my empathy and understanding, but it also drives my dedication to helping others. I know what it feels like to be at your lowest, and I’m committed to walking alongside you in your journey toward stability, growth, and healing. My goal is to offer support that goes beyond just clinical expertise—it’s about genuine care, understanding, and a true commitment to helping you regain control of your mental health.
Ideal clients
I work best with individuals who are truly ready to commit to their mental health and well-being. If you are someone who is open to feedback, willing to engage in the process of change, and equally committed to taking an active role in your own healing, we’ll make a great team. Mental health is a partnership—both provider and client need to be dedicated to the work. My ideal client is someone who is motivated, open to new perspectives, and willing to put in the effort to improve their emotional and psychological health. Whether you are facing a specific challenge, dealing with a long-term issue, or exploring new ways to enhance your mental wellness, we’ll work together to create a plan that aligns with your goals.
Treatment methods
Supportive
My supportive approach, is type of psychological treatment aimed at helping individuals cope with emotional distress, manage symptoms, and improve overall functioning. Unlike other forms of therapy that delve deeply into unconscious conflicts or aim for major personality change, supportive therapy focuses more on strengthening existing coping mechanisms and providing emotional support.
Faith-based therapy
This approach is client led, as faith-based therapy is a type of psychological counseling that integrates spiritual or religious beliefs into the therapeutic process. It is grounded in the idea that faith and spirituality can play a powerful role in emotional healing, personal growth, and coping with life’s challenges.
Solution-Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Treatment is a therapeutic approach that concentrates on finding solutions to current problems, rather than focusing on past issues or exploring deep-rooted causes of distress. It’s a forward-looking approach that helps clients develop practical strategies for overcoming challenges, and it's often short-term in nature. The emphasis is on what’s working, rather than what isn’t, to foster quick resolution and personal empowerment.
