You are more resilient than you think! Being here, you are already taking the first step toward wellness. And what does wellness look like for you: more joy, less anxiety, better sleep, or improved relationships? Are you adjusting to a new medical condition, amid a life transition, or looking for ways to better manage the demands of work, school, or everyday life? I work from a whole-person health approach. Our bodies and minds are connected, as well as the people who move through life with us. I have navigated the behavioral health world for over 30 years. You will have a partner in your health journey: spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical. I enjoy working with motivated professionals, healthcare workers, educators, and students who are seeking growth, balance, and meaningful change. I will provide concrete coping skills and goals, as well as existential widening and techniques for inner peace. I believe everyone can change, but change requires a plan, dedication, community, support, encouragement, and accountability. If you are ready, or even just wondering if you are ready to make sustainable change, I am here for you. Let's get working! *******Please schedule sessions on the half-hour.**********
In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the goals you hope to achieve, and begin developing a plan to help you move forward.
I have worked in the psychiatric field for 30 years. Navigating the health system can be very challenging. I have experience in inpatient settings, residential treatment, substance use, and serious mental illness. I specialize in co-occurring medical conditions and learning to adjust to life-changing medical events. My experience working with professionals, leaders, and students also gives me insight into the challenges of balancing achievement, expectations, relationships, and personal well-being.
My ideal clients are adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, bipolar disorder, medical challenges, life transitions, relationship concerns, or stress related to work and academic demands. I particularly enjoy working with motivated professionals, healthcare workers, educators, and students who are ready to better understand themselves, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives with confidence and purpose.

CBT is an evidence-based treatment for mood stabilization, depression, and anxiety. Our thoughts influence our emotions and behaviors, and CBT helps identify and change patterns that no longer serve us.
Motivational Interviewing is the perfect counterpart to CBT. This collaborative approach helps uncover barriers to change, strengthen motivation, and align actions with personal goals and values.
ERP is the evidence-based treatment for OCD. Through gradual exposure, obsessions and compulsions lose their power, helping individuals regain confidence and freedom in their daily lives.
