Tiara Golden
I am a wife, mother, lover of RomCom/Thriller movies, and confidant to those in need. I started receiving counseling after my parents’ divorce; the difficulty of establishing a new “normal” caused an immense amount of fear. I’ve dealt with self-esteem issues regarding weight and complexion, as well as identity crisis issues stemming from motherhood; I’ve gained friends and grieved past friendships. Through consistency and dedication, I was able to work through my triggers and truly do the work within myself. I am here to inform you that it is possible to see the rainbow after the storm, and doing the “work” within yourself is a continuous effort filled with highs, lows, and much self-correction. Let’s take this journey together! I am a former Behavioral Therapist and Certified Special Education Teacher who specialized in children on the Autism Spectrum. I greet each new day believing there’s no “one size fits all” regarding therapy. I meet my clients where they are, fostering community, and I know that being a true collaborative partner throughout the therapeutic alliance is the main priority.
First session
Our first session together will focus on rapport building , discussing your personal goals and ensuring we’re a proper fit for one another.
Strengths
One thing to note, I consider myself your accountability partner. I will challenge your negative thought patterns because you did not seek therapy for a “ yes man” the point is to grow in all aspects.
