About me

Hi, I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist who works with children and moms navigating big emotions, life transitions, and relationship stress. I specialize in helping families build stronger connections and practical skills through approaches like family therapy, CBT, and solution-focused therapy. Whether your child is struggling with anxiety, emotional outbursts, or you’re feeling overwhelmed as a parent, I offer a space where you’re supported, heard, and empowered. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and tailored to each family’s strengths. I believe change doesn’t always require digging into the past—instead, we focus on what’s already working and how to move forward with clarity and confidence. If you’re ready for meaningful progress in a manageable way, I’d love to help.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I’ll focus on understanding your experience as a parent—what’s feeling hard right now, what your child is going through, and what kind of support you’re looking for. We’ll talk about your child’s emotions and behaviors, your family routines, and any stress you’re carrying. You can expect a judgment-free space where your perspective is valued and your concerns are taken seriously. I’ll ask questions to get a full picture of what’s happening at home, and I’ll also share how I typically work with families like yours. Together, we’ll begin identifying what’s already working, where you’d like to see change, and what goals we can focus on moving forward. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful—with a clear path toward helping your child and yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is that it’s practical, collaborative, and deeply attuned to both the child’s needs and the parent’s experience. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I tailor sessions using evidence-based methods like CBT, family therapy, and solution-focused strategies—always with the goal of creating real, noticeable change at home. I help parents understand the “why” behind their child’s behaviors while offering clear, manageable tools they can use right away. I also create a space where moms feel supported, not judged—because your wellbeing matters just as much as your child’s. Many families tell me they leave sessions with a renewed sense of confidence and connection, and that their children begin showing more regulation, cooperation, and emotional insight within just a few weeks. My goal isn’t perfection—it’s progress that feels meaningful and sustainable.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m here to support children and moms who are facing emotional challenges, parenting stress, or difficult transitions. I work especially well with families looking for a compassionate, down-to-earth therapist who offers practical tools alongside emotional support. If your child is experiencing anxiety, mood swings, or trouble adjusting at home or school—or if you’re feeling stuck as a parent—I can help. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on what works. I blend evidence-based strategies like CBT, family therapy, and solution-focused work to help kids feel more regulated and confident, while helping parents feel more connected and in control. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just a willingness to try something new, one step at a time.
