I aim to help my clients develop insight into areas of their life which may be challenging as well as learn skills for overcoming barriers to change. I recognize that life and experiences may have been filled with past traumas, past losses, as well as current stressors that amount to moments of not knowing "what is the next step". I look forward to using evidence based techniques and partnering with you to finding your path for improved functioning.
Our initial session will be gathering background clinical information and identifying your goals for therapy as well as ways in which I can begin to support achieving those goals. Our sessions will be collaborative and include on-going feedback to determine if we are successfully working towards achieving your therapy goals.
I utilize multiple treatment methods including cognitive behavior therapy, exposure therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, insight oriented therapy, solution focused therapy, and behavioral training.
My strengths are in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, as well as clients managing adjustment to significant life stressors.
