I have 14 years of experience with adolescents, children and families; specializing in trauma, grief, self-harm and play therapy. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Math from the University of Houston and Master’s of Counseling from the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2010.

First session
You can expect to find a caring and considerate therapist who will work with you to help you meet your therapeutic goals. YOU are the expert about your life! The first session will focus on a history and treatment plan.

My ability to connect with clients from many cultures and backgrounds and my sense of humor are my greatest strengths.
Ideal clients
I especially enjoy working with adolescents and children. I will work with you and/or your child to help ensure that the patterns are positive and productive. I have worked as a junior high teacher and school counselor and can serve as a liaison between parents and the school. I work with children ages 3 and up using play therapy. I am a Registered Play Therapist who knows the power of play to help children.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)
This is an evidence-based protocol for PTSD that takes 8-12 sessions.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is the gold standard to dealing with OCD. It has been proven to be helpful with all types of OCD.
Play Therapy
Play is the language of kids and the toys are their words.
