Do you struggle with anxiety and depression, or other mental health conditions? Tired of feeling sad, anxious, lost, or struggling with day-to-day tasks. Do you lack the motivation, focus and concentration that is needed to be productive? Are you suffering from mood swings, or irritability? Do you reminisce about prior trauma or past experiences? Do you tend to create worst-case scenarios on a day-to-day basis? Do you suffer from debilitating panic attacks? Do people tell you that you make poor choices or are involved in risky behaviors? I’m here to help you get to the root of why you’re feeling the way that you feel. Many people struggle with mental health conditions and there’s no need to be embarrassed or feel alone. I am here to help you explore these feelings and to discuss medication options to find the one that will work best for you. I believe in educating clients on their mental health disorders and developing a plan of care together to best suit your needs. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar, ADHD, or other mental health concerns I can help. Together we can create a plan to lead you on a path to wellness. I have been a nurse for the last 24 years and worked in various settings including long-term care, intensive care, cardiology, retail health, and community mental health. I am a board-certified licensed mental health nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner. I believe the mind and body work together to create a balance of wellness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

After meeting you can expect to feel heard, understood, and acknowledged. You will leave feeling hopeful that you can feel better and that sometimes medications are needed or may be helpful.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I follow the DSM-5 criteria for diagnosing and treating mental health conditions. I use evidence-based recommendations along with self-exploration techniques, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a caring approach. I also understand that not everybody fits into a particular checkbox, but that each individual is unique and should be treated as such.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am caring and respectful. I feel that all people deserve to be treated equally no matter where you are in life and where you came from.
