First session
Most importantly, I will listen. A clear understanding of your issues and symptoms is crucial. Bring your list of concerns, and together we will develop a plan to help you move toward your goal of greater wellness. It takes courage to get started, but taking the step is empowering and actually starts the healing process. At Grow I accept most major insurance plans, allowing many clients to pay $0 to $55 per session in co-pays. I also welcome self-pay clients with rates of $325 for initial appointments and $210 for follow-ups.
Strengths
I've always been impressed with the healing nature of human connection. I strive to enter each client meeting with empathy and utilize collaboration and evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their wellness goals. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where individuals feel empowered to understand their symptoms and build meaningful coping strategies. I integrate a biopsychosocial perspective, recognizing the complex interplay between biological, psychological, and social factors in mental health.
Ideal clients
She specializes in working with adults 18 and older coping with mental and emotional difficulties. She can assist clients wanting treatment for depression, anxiety, insomnia, bipolar disorders, ADD/ADHD, schizophrenia, OCD, trauma, stress, and much more.
Treatment methods
Mind-body approach
The mind-body approach is rooted in the understanding that mental and physical health are interconnected. It focuses on the interplay between the mind and body to promote overall well-being. The understanding that mental states influence our physical health and vice versa often leads to more comprehensive therapeutic interventions that address both psychological and physiological aspects. I encourage my patients to incorporate therapy, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness-based work into any psychotropic medication regimen.
