As a licensed clinical social worker in Mississippi and Alabama, I have a passion for helping individuals of all backgrounds and populations reach their full potential. With a strength-based approach, I focus on meeting my clients where they are, creating a safe and comfortable environment for them to explore their goals. I specialize in helping clients identify their unique strengths, often uncovering qualities they may not have realized were sources of resilience. By combining motivational interviewing with cognitive structuring exercises, I support clients in challenging negative thought patterns and building on their innate abilities to overcome obstacles. Through this collaborative process, I find joy in watching clients gain confidence and move toward achieving their life goals. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone has the potential for growth, and my goal is to empower individuals to tap into their inner strengths to navigate life's challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you’ll have the opportunity to share what brings you to therapy—your concerns, background, and hopes for change—while I listen without judgment and ask questions to fully understand your experience. Together, we’ll uncover the personal strengths, skills, and supports you already possess to guide our work. I’ll also explain my trauma-informed, strengths-based approach and the evidence-based tools we use—such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and ACT—so you know exactly how our sessions will unfold. Before we finish, we’ll set a few concrete goals and outline practical next steps you can begin right away, and I’ll answer any questions you have about confidentiality, scheduling, or paperwork. By the end of our time together, you’ll leave with a clear plan, some immediate tools to try, and confidence that you’re in a supportive, empowering space.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What truly sets my work apart is the way I blend a trauma-informed, strengths-based philosophy with proven, evidence-based tools tailoring each session to your unique story and goals. By focusing first on the resilience you already possess and collaborating on clear, achievable steps, clients often notice real shifts in confidence and outlook within just a few sessions. I prioritize emotional safety and choice, creating a space where you feel heard and empowered rather than judged. The result is a therapy experience that’s both deeply supportive and remarkably action-oriented, helping you build lasting change and move toward the life you want.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are ready to explore personal growth, even if they’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of where to start. I work well with clients who are navigating life transitions, managing stress or emotional pain, or seeking to better understand themselves and their patterns. Whether you’re struggling with self-doubt, carrying the weight of past experiences, or simply wanting to feel more in control and aligned with your goals, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive structuring exercises are a great way to help reframe thoughts and challenge negative thinking patterns. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work on recognizing unhelpful patterns, building healthier ways of thinking, and taking practical steps toward lasting change. My approach is always personalized, supportive, and focused on your real-life goals.

Strength-Based

I use a strengths-based approach to help clients rediscover what makes them resilient and capable. By focusing on your unique strengths—not just your struggles—we’ll build confidence, foster growth, and help you move forward with clarity and purpose.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their goals, build confidence, and take meaningful steps forward—without pressure or judgment. It’s a supportive, collaborative approach that helps you reconnect with what truly matters to you.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients let go of the struggle with difficult thoughts and reconnect with what matters most. Together, we build emotional flexibility and take meaningful action toward a fulfilling life.

Trauma Informed Care

I practice Trauma-Informed Care, which means I create a safe, respectful space where you feel empowered—not retraumatized. I work at your pace and support healing by honoring your story, boundaries, and strengths.
