New to Grow
For more than 13 years, I have helped clients navigate life's challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based treatment. My advanced clinical training includes education at Princeton and Columbia University, and I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, panic attacks, substance use, relationship concerns, men's issues, life transitions, and sports performance. I also work with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, strengthen connection, and break unhealthy relationship patterns. My approach is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior (DBT), person-centered, and humanistic therapies. I believe lasting change comes from understanding both the individual and the broader context of their life, including family, relationships, work or school, culture, and other environmental influences. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or seeking personal growth, my goal is to help you reduce symptoms, build resilience, deepen self-awareness, and create a more fulfilling life. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to help you move toward the life you want.
When we meet, you can expect a warm, open, curious, and accepting approach with an emphasis on collaborative exploration and understanding of strengths, vulnerabilities, and goal attainment. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and resilience. No matter where you are today, meaningful change is possible, and you don't have to pursue it alone. If you're ready to take the next step, I would be honored to help you build the life you want and deserve.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that lasting change occurs when we understand not only symptoms, but the person experiencing them. My work integrates psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavior (DBT), person-centered, and humanistic approaches to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I recognize that emotional well-being is shaped by far more than internal thoughts and feelings, so I take a holistic perspective that considers the broader context of each person's life—including family dynamics, relationships, work or school stress, friendships, life experiences, culture, identity, and other environmental factors that influence mental health. Therapy is tailored to your unique needs, strengths, values, and goals, ensuring that treatment is both evidence-based and deeply personalized.
Making the decision to begin therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've been carrying your struggles alone. Whether you're feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply want to become the best version of yourself, you don't have to face it alone. Therapy provides a supportive space to better understand yourself, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it is one of the strongest and most important steps you can take.
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, develop healthier coping strategies, and create practical, lasting changes that improve emotional well-being.
Attachment-based
Attachment-based therapy focuses on understanding how our early experiences and important relationships influence our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together, we explore attachment patterns, emotional needs, and relationship dynamics to develop greater self-compassion, emotional security, and healthier connections with others.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients build healthier relationships with their emotions rather than feeling controlled by them. Together, we develop practical skills for managing overwhelming feelings, navigating conflict, improving communication, and responding thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively.
Couples Counseling
My approach to couples therapy focuses on helping partners better understand themselves and each other. We explore communication patterns, emotional needs, conflict cycles, and relationship dynamics while developing healthier ways to express concerns, repair disconnection, and strengthen trust. My goal is to help couples create a relationship built on respect, emotional safety, and meaningful connection.
Psychodynamic
Psychodynamic therapy helps clients understand how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns continue to influence their present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, creating deeper insight and lasting change.
