Hi, I’m Lynde, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I’ve spent over a decade helping people work through tough seasons and find their way back to themselves. I support clients dealing with anxiety, substance use, trauma, and big life changes. I’ve worked in the addiction field for 14 years, so I understand that change isn’t just about stopping a behavior—it’s about understanding what’s underneath it. Whether you’re struggling with substance use, food, body image, or feeling stuck in patterns, we’ll work together to make sense of it in a way that feels manageable and real. My experience in a Level I trauma center has also shaped how I show up for clients, especially those in high-stress roles like healthcare, first response, or caregiving. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out. If you’re feeling overwhelmed or ready for something to shift, I’m here to walk alongside you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll keep things relaxed and go at your pace. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve tried before, and what has or hasn’t worked for you. We’ll also touch on what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is really just a chance for us to get to know each other and start building a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to be yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths is creating a space where you can just be yourself—where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. I meet you where you are and work alongside you, while also gently helping you notice patterns that might be keeping you stuck. I pull from approaches like CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness, but I keep things flexible so it fits you—not the other way around. Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space to process the hard stuff while also walking away with tools they can actually use in real life. I’m not here to fix you—because you’re not broken. I’m here to support you as you build insight, confidence, and a stronger connection with yourself.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their experiences, even if they’re feeling uncertain or overwhelmed. I work best with people navigating trauma, anxiety, substance use, burnout, or life transitions—including those preparing for or recovering from bariatric surgery. I’m especially passionate about supporting first responders and healthcare professionals who often carry the invisible weight of others’ crises. Whether you’re seeking to break patterns, set boundaries, build resilience, or simply feel more like yourself again, I’m here to help you move forward with compassion and clarity.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is all about giving you practical tools to feel more in control of your emotions and behaviors. It’s a collaborative process where we work together to help you thrive. This is done by exploring the main focuses of DBT (Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness).

Trauma Informed Care

I use trauma-informed care in my therapy practice by recognizing and responding to the effects of trauma on your life. Here’s how I incorporate it into our sessions by Creating a safe space, building trust, and empowerment.

Motivational Interviewing

I regularly use Motivational Interviewing (MI) in my therapy practice to support clients in exploring ambivalence and building motivation for change. MI allows me to meet clients where they are, honor their autonomy, and help them identify their own reasons for making meaningful changes. This approach has been especially effective in my work with individuals navigating addiction, behavioral challenges, and life transitions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build skills to manage anxiety, depression, and other life stressors. CBT has been a valuable tool in my work, allowing clients to better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to make meaningful, lasting changes.

I ran into the biggest crisis of my life. I needed guidance and support and help. Lynde was there every step of the way. I'm still working through things. It's easier to walk forward with her help along the way.
