Tameika Harris

PMHNP (she/her)1 year of experience

Hello, I'm Tameika Harris, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APRN, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and licensed minister. I founded Divine Solutions Center with a passion for bridging the gap between faith and mental health. I believe healing is most effective when we address the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and relationships. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, and burnout. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. I combine evidence-based treatment with practical tools, psychoeducation, and faith integration for clients who desire a Christian perspective in their care. Whether you are seeking emotional healing, personal growth, relational restoration, or spiritual wellness, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward. At Divine Solutions Center, our philosophy is simple: God + Therapy = Divine Restoration.

First session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll discuss your current concerns, personal history, symptoms, strengths, goals, and any factors that may be impacting your emotional, relational, spiritual, or mental well-being. This is a judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace. My goal is to understand your unique story, answer any questions you may have, and work collaboratively with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals. By the end of the session, you'll have a clearer understanding of the next steps and how we can work together to support your healing and growth.

Strengths

I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, education, and faith-based insight to the therapeutic process. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and licensed minister, I am able to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and spiritual well-being. Clients often describe me as compassionate, genuine, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered. My approach is both practical and holistic—I not only help clients gain insight into their challenges but also provide tools and strategies they can apply in everyday life. What sets my practice apart is my ability to bridge the gap between faith and mental health while honoring each client's personal values and beliefs. Whether a client desires a faith-integrated approach or a traditional clinical approach, my goal is to help them move beyond symptom management toward meaningful healing, growth, and lasting transformation.

Ideal clients

I am best positioned to serve adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, burnout, and concerns related to identity, self-worth, and emotional healing. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or burdened by experiences that continue to affect their relationships, decision-making, and overall quality of life. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, educator, and licensed minister, I bring a unique perspective that bridges the gap between faith and mental health. I believe true wellness encompasses emotional, relational, spiritual, and mental well-being. My approach is rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and the understanding that healing often requires addressing the whole person—not just symptoms. I work well with individuals who are seeking greater self-awareness, emotional healing, healthier relationships, and personal growth. Many of my clients desire a safe space to process life's challenges while developing practical tools to navigate anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I also enjoy helping clients uncover the root causes of emotional patterns, identify barriers to growth, establish healthy boundaries, and cultivate resilience. While I welcome clients from all backgrounds and belief systems, I am especially passionate about supporting those who desire to integrate their Christian faith into the therapeutic process. Through what I often describe as "God + Therapy," I combine evidence-based mental health practices with faith-based principles when requested, helping clients explore both emotional and spiritual aspects of healing. My goal is to help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms toward experiencing lasting transformation. Whether you are seeking emotional healing, relational restoration, spiritual growth, or greater clarity and purpose, I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, empowered, and equipped to thrive.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life's challenges. Together, we build practical coping strategies to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional concerns while promoting lasting positive change.

Grief Therapy

provide a supportive space for clients to process grief and loss at their own pace. Grief therapy helps individuals navigate the emotional, physical, and spiritual impact of loss, develop healthy coping strategies, and find meaning and healing while honoring their unique grief journey.

Faith-based therapy

Faith-based therapy integrates evidence-based mental health practices with a client's spiritual beliefs and values. For those who desire it, I incorporate biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual exploration to support emotional healing, personal growth, and overall well-being while honoring each client's unique faith journey.

Trauma-Informed Care

I provide care through a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how past experiences can impact thoughts, emotions, relationships, and overall well-being. This approach emphasizes safety, trust, empowerment, and collaboration while helping clients heal, build resilience, and develop healthy coping skills at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their mental health, symptoms, behaviors, and treatment options. By increasing awareness and providing practical tools, clients are empowered to make informed decisions, build effective coping skills, and actively participate in their healing and personal growth.
