In our first session, we would review assessments completed, ask questions to help build rapport, explore current stressors and identify specific goals for treatment. My style is explorative, collaborative, reflective and nonjudgmental.
My explorative and conversational style is one of my strengths as it aids in building trust and rapport. I take pride in making my patients feel comfortable during our sessions. Many of my patients have shared feeling surprised how easily it has been for them to open up early on in our sessions.
I currently work with individuals and families navigating issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment challenges, relationships, grief and loss and trauma.
