(PLEASE NOTE - If you need assistance scheduling an appointment due to my limited availability, please email me at NBGLMHC@gmail.com so we can hopefully work something out.) My style is client-centered, and my ultimate goal is to create a safe space for my clients to challenge themselves and grow into the best versions of themselves. I have been providing therapy in-person since 2006 and via tele-health since 2020. It's important to me that I can still work with clients even if the format has changed. Using video technology has increased the convenience for me and my clients and allows me to work with people who may be located in another state. I am a first-generation American with a big heart for animal rescue — just ask my dog and four cats. I have moved around a good bit and have lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida. Over the course of my career, I have worked in multiple settings with people from all walks of life and am comfortable helping people with a variety of concerns. As a mother to two small children, I can fully empathize with the demands and burdens placed on working parents today. It's hard to raise a family and meet obligations, and parents often feel as though they're falling short. I work with clients to help them through these feelings and give them tools they can apply in everyday situations. My professional training is in cognitive behavioral therapy. However, I like to tailor treatment based on each individual's needs, so I consider my approach to be more eclectic than anything else. Each client's situation is unique, and their treatment plan should reflect that. Work with me to become the best person you can be.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will consist of gathering information and getting to know each other. My goal is for you to get a sense of who I am and hopefully feel comfortable enough to share with me what's been going on in your life and what you would like to get out of our time together.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

My professional training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but I like to tailor treatment based on each individual's needs so I consider my approach to be more eclectic than anything else.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a mother to 2 children, I can fully empathize with the demands and burdens placed on parents today. Oftentimes, when we become parents, our identities can feel lost and/or replaced by someone we no longer recognize. If you feel that to be your case as well, then please know that you are not alone.
