Hello and welcome! I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with 14 years experience supporting individuals with navigating the day-to-day and life transitions in the midst of experiencing anxiety, depression, and other challenges. I utilize talk therapy and operate from a family systems orientation to support you with understanding how your past may be impacting your present. This unique framework can support you in gaining insight to familiar patterns that no longer serve you so you can start living a happier, lighter life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I hope to create a warm, welcoming environment to orient you to therapy. I'll ask questions and also listen to your understanding of what you need support with.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am a present, kind, and humorous therapist who values the therapeutic relationship and creating a warm environment you feel comfortable in. My ability to connect and validate will allow you to gain insight and skills leading to more fulfilling relationships and an improved sense of self.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions such as a career change, end of a relationship, pregnancy, or motherhood.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I can support you in understanding your attachment style and needs to better improve your relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I support individuals with understanding the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, reframing thought patterns, and challenging negative beliefs. These skills along with relaxation techniques can lead to decreased feelings of anxiety and depression.

Trauma Informed Care

Most individuals and families I work with have experienced trauma in their lifetime. I support clients in becoming curious about how this trauma may impact their current relationships and sense of self.
