New to Grow
Hi, I'm Haley. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of holding everything together, therapy can be a space to slow down, understand your experiences, and reconnect with yourself. I work with adults and teens who are navigating trauma, grief, anxiety, stress, and relationship concerns. You may be processing difficult experiences, feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, or struggling to feel connected to yourself and the people you love. I’m passionate about mental health research and committed to continually learning so that I can offer care that is both thoughtful and informed by the latest evidence. My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities that support the mind, body, and emotions. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic interventions, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among others. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so my approach is collaborative, strengths-focused, and tailored to your unique needs, goals, and experiences. And most importantly, I want therapy to move at a pace that feels right for you. If you resonate with this at all, I would be honored to connect with you.
In your first session we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping will change, and the experiences that have shaped where you are today—at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling genuinely understood, hopeful, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together toward the changes you’re hoping to make.
I believe that each person is more than their symptoms or diagnosis. Our experiences, relationships, emotions, bodies, and sense of self are all interconnected, and I strive to understand the whole person rather than focusing on just one part of their experience. My practice is dedicated to guiding clients in exploring how past experiences may have shaped their current patterns of thinking, feeling, relating, and responding to stress. By developing a deeper understanding of where these patterns come from, we can begin to create more choice, self-compassion, and meaningful change in the present. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported as you explore what you need to heal and grow.
My ideal clients are people who are ready to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change in their lives. I enjoy working with individuals navigating trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck in patterns they no longer want to carry forward. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy—curiosity, openness, and a willingness to explore are more than enough. Once I have what feels like enough information about what you are going through, I will create and share roadmap for your healing journey and I will take it from there. All that is required from you is that you show up.
CBT explores the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how these patterns can influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us. I integrate CBT to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop more balanced perspectives, and build practical skills for navigating stress, anxiety, depression, and everyday challenges.
DBT provides practical tools for managing difficult emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating distress, and staying grounded during challenging moments. I incorporate DBT skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness when clients need concrete strategies they can apply in their daily lives.
EMDR is a trauma-focused approach that can help the brain process distressing or overwhelming experiences that may continue to affect you in the present. I integrate EMDR when appropriate to help clients work through unresolved experiences while maintaining a strong focus on safety, stabilization, and emotional regulation. This is one of the top modalities referenced for processing traumatic experiences in the popular book "The Body Keeps the Score".
IFS views our inner experiences as made up of different “parts,” each with its own emotions, beliefs, and protective roles. I use IFS to help clients approach these parts with curiosity and compassion, understand the patterns they developed to protect themselves, and develop a deeper sense of self-understanding and internal connection. If you've heard of or have interest in the book "No Bad Parts", this is the modality they reference throughout the book.
Somatic work recognizes that our emotional experiences can also be held and expressed through the body. I integrate mind-body interventions to help clients notice physical sensations, build awareness of their nervous system, and develop greater capacity for grounding, regulation, and feeling safe and present in their bodies. It is also another science-backed modality referenced in "The Body Keeps the Score".
