Marie Lucien
Taking the step to seek support takes immense courage. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for a change, you are in the right place. My name is Marie Lucien, and I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner dedicated to helping you reclaim your life and mental well-being. My motivation comes from a simple belief: mental health care should be deeply compassionate, collaborative, and entirely tailored to you. I understand that true healing involves looking at the whole person, not just a list of symptoms. Here, your voice will always be heard, your experiences validated, and your personal goals prioritized.
Marie has more than a decade of experience working at a behavioral health hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which is well known for its mental health services.
First session
Your care does not stop after we create an initial plan. Our ongoing sessions are designed to be a consistent, safe space for growth and adjustment. We will explore your history, current challenges, and immediate goals to build your personalized roadmap. We closely monitor how you feel, track your progress, and adjust your treatment or medications as you evolve. You will learn concrete, practical coping mechanisms during our time together that you can use immediately in your daily life.
Strengths
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my therapeutic approach stands out through its seamless integration of advanced clinical expertise and deep, holistic empathy. I combine evidence-based psychopharmacology with diverse psychotherapeutic modalities, ensuring that treatment is never a one-size-fits-all solution but a collaborative, personalized blueprint for wellness. My greatest strength lies in my ability to look beyond diagnostic labels to understand the complex biological, psychological, and social factors shaping each individual's experience. This comprehensive method consistently yields transformative results, empowers patients to actively participate in their healing, and fosters sustainable, long-term mental resilience.
Ideal clients
I am comfortable working with anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, and work-like balance clients. The process can be most of the time a short term goals therapy with a positive achievement. See my clients struggles, and my intervention does not helping them, make me question myself is there something else I should do and I miss it. After a couple sessions I expect to see or hear from the client that there is hope.
