Cathy Sharp
With 16 years experience, I know how to help my clients grow beyond the mental traps of living in the past or future, and into a confident, fully-present moment. When we work together, you can expect me to be your guide as we analyze the ways your thoughts and feelings influence the actions you decide to take.
With 16 years experience, I know how to help my clients grow beyond the mental traps of living in the past or future, and into a confident, fully-present moment.

First session
I want my clients to feel comfortable in the therapy space, so transparency is important for me. After we discuss your goals and what brought you to our session, I’ll take some time to explain the therapy process as I like to practice it, and answer any questions you might have. You’re welcome to ask me about myself, what we might do during our time together, or anything else that comes to mind.
Strengths
I practice therapy how I’d like to receive it. I show up as my authentic self in session with clients and I take a big-picture view of their lives. Everyone’s needs are different and I tailor my work for each client. Whether it’s a shorter duration of sessions or providing more education, I can adapt to give you a holistic plan of action to meet your goals.
Ideal clients
My specialization is in working with highly-sensitive persons (HSPs), adults who struggle with perfectionism, and overthinkers. I’m excited to work with clients who are equally excited to engage with the process and willing to step into their autonomy and to achieve their personal goals. My goals are to allow you to have space where you feel seen, supported and understood.
