New to Grow
As a licensed therapist in Colorado, I specialize in working with first responders, military service members, veterans, and their families. These professions demand strength, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure, but the experiences that come with service can also take a significant toll. Whether you're struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, burnout, or difficulty adjusting after critical incidents, therapy can provide a space to process what you've carried alone. My style is straightforward, practical, and trauma-informed. I integrate EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients process traumatic experiences, reduce symptoms, and reconnect with the parts of life that matter most. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership—not a lecture—and I tailor treatment to fit each individual's goals.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for treatment. I'll also answer any questions you may have about the therapy process and what to expect moving forward.
My approach to therapy is shaped by my experience working with active-duty military service members, veterans, and first responders and their families—individuals who often face unique challenges, high levels of stress, and situations that require resilience under pressure. This background has given me a deep understanding of trauma, operational stress, life transitions, and the complexities of balancing personal and professional demands. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while also offering honest feedback and meaningful challenges when needed. I believe growth happens through both support and accountability. Rather than simply listening, I actively engage in the therapeutic process, helping clients identify patterns, develop insight, and take practical steps toward lasting change. My goal is to help you move beyond survival mode, build resilience, and create meaningful progress in the areas of life that matter most to you.
My ideal client is one who is a first responder, Active Duty military, veteran, or the family member of these populations. I am a straight shooter. I like working with PTSD, interpersonal relationships, adapting new coping skills, and people who are struggling in their daily lives either due to the job or due to their loved ones job. Spouses of the responders I also enjoy working with.

I identify as
EMDR
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, distressing life experiences, and negative self-beliefs. In my practice, I use EMDR within a safe, supportive, and client-centered approach. After assessing your needs and building coping skills, we identify experiences that continue to impact your well-being. Through guided bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping, EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences, reducing emotional distress and promoting healthier perspectives. EMDR can be effective for trauma, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, life transitions, and other challenges that may be keeping you feeling stuck. My goal is to help you move forward with greater resilience, confidence, and emotional well-being.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is an evidence-based treatment that helps individuals recover from trauma and its lasting effects. Traumatic experiences can shape the way we view ourselves, others, and the world, often leading to feelings of guilt, shame, fear, or self-blame. In my practice, I use CPT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that may be keeping them stuck in distress. Through a structured and supportive process, clients learn to develop more balanced perspectives, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and regain a greater sense of control in their lives. CPT is commonly used to treat PTSD and can also be helpful for individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, guilt, shame, and difficulties related to traumatic or stressful life experiences. My goal is to help clients build insight, resilience, and confidence as they move toward healing and recovery.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a strengths-based, goal-oriented approach that focuses on solutions rather than problems. I use SFBT to help clients identify their strengths, clarify goals, and build on what is already working in their lives. This approach can be helpful for managing stress, navigating life transitions, improving relationships, and overcoming challenges. By focusing on practical strategies and achievable goals, clients can create meaningful and lasting change.
